Spent my day off doing house chores, as usual...

later going off to Woodlands to see Lincoln!!!

He's turning 1 next month!!!

I'm so excited!!!

We are planning to hold a birthday party for him at Sengkang on June 10th.... (Wendy, so you know liao huh...)

Timing would most probably be 2pm... to be confirmed...

Lately Lincoln has bouts of fever and runny nose, but the doc says is common, cos my darling might be teething... and to be true... his upper front tooth is emerging!!! 3 little teeth in total!!!! :)

He is definitely getting better day by day, which made me a very happy parent...

he is learning how to grip things and also learning how to sit.... when he is in his walker, and i entice him with treats, he will rush over to me excitedly... and if you ask him if he wants to be carried, he will stetch out his arms and goo goo gaa gaa at you to say yes!

to others, maybe its only natural progression for kids to behave like he does, but my lincoln is special... the doc says he's gonna be slower than other kids, so whatever progresses he has now are all milestones for us and him really...

he smiles all the time and is a joy to have...

Couldn't have ask for anything else....

At my sis place right now...

Lincoln is sleeping in the yao yao.... kelvin went back to office to do some work, and i am using the pc now to update my blog...

Darling woke up damn early this morning, 6am!!! He was giggling and figgitting like some active sportsman, so being the nice mummy, i had to wake up at 6am to play with him...

Played till around 8.30am and kelvin woke up, so we decided to spend some quality family time together and what better way to start off our Sunday with a Mac breakfast???

We strapped Lincoln on to the baby seat and it was great to sit him all eager and playful... his illness forgotten.

We fed him Hotcakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns and darling lincoln devoured them all!!

Suddenly, he sat all still and wrinkled his face... made a little grunt... he pooped!!!

his face was so funny, all serious and concentrated out of a sudden... just to poop...

Luckily we were almost done and we rushed home to change him...

i realised that it really doesn't take much to make me a happy person. all it takes is to have Lincoln smile at me...

simple pleasures in life sometimes doesn't cost a penny.

Whew!

Another time to update!

Blogger is blocked in my office, so i cannot do any updates over there... so i try to use Ade's PC to surf abit of net when i'm free at home....

Alot of things have been happening recently... some good, some bad...

the bad ones i do not wish to elaborate, cos i do not wish to unpack my burdens to you my friends, but the good ones are:

1. Been watching the whole drama ''Tokyo Juliet'' from YouTube, the whole 17 episodes!!! And it stars m,y fav idol, Wu Chun. And bonus, Simon Yam also stars in it as well!!! 2 of my fav idols!! Yummy!!!!

2. Work has been quite relaxed... cos my dept is a relax type of company.... i spend my typical day painting my nails, surfing the net, having V doing mini makeovers for me (she's amazing with makeup) and chatting with R.

3. Lincoln is slowly more and more active, although his doc in charge is still considering him slow for his development. we might need to be prepared to send him to a special school when he's one and a half years old. the news hit me quite hard actually... but i told myself, he is my son and nothing can change the fact that i love him more than anything else in the world, and as a family, we can pull thru all the hardship together.

4. Been excercising more at the gym... sometimes its good to run on the treadmill and feel the adrenaline rush thru my body and buring up all my stress and anger inside....

Tomorrow is Sat and i have to work... let's hope i wont die of boredom in the office....

Finally...

A little bit of spare time today to update my blog....

my new job is indeed quite challenging, in terms of having to memorise so much details in so little time... I have to remember all the con current promotions each individual outlet is having, also their fact sheets... such as how many tables can this restaurant fits, how much must a person spend before he can reserve a table, and lots lots more....

Fortunately, my colleagues are quite nice people. There's V, a loud mouth girl which, quoted by Ju, does not come born with a filter in her mouth!! LOL... she's direct and brash and talks about sex all the time... but she is indeed very funny and brings life into the office...

V is also very pretty... with a model type of body... she's quite hiao lar... but it takes effort to be so chio and confident ok?? she's only 20 this year but looks like 26... she was shocked when i told her I'm married with a kid... and i told her likewise, i shocked when she said she's only 20!!

Ju, my immediate superior, is actually a long time friend. She was the one who brought me into the industry. Right now, i'm starting from scratch and she's training me to go into events, which is my desired job destination.

R is a quiet catholic mum, but can also speak filthy if she wanted to!! she's the more mature type when comes to work, and recently i teach her how to use MSN Messenger!! Yes, she's new to it!!! She's quite friendly and also joined the company recently only.

E is a part timer which c0mes in only on public holidays and weekends... She's a typical 19 year old with many nice experiences in poly to share. Ahem, (BGR and SEX)... lol.... she's quite blur sometimes, but really a hoot!!

I'm not really used to my work yet, because first of all, i worked in a small company most of my life and now, there are over a hundred colleagues which i must get to know on a general basis, if not, i don't know who i'm emailing with and why I'm emailing them!!!

now my work flow is still considered slow, cos I'm still at infant stage and my colleagues are helping me in every way.

my working hours are considered good, cos i work from 10-6pm everyday and soemtimes the day can be quite dead because there are no enquiries at all and all we do is surf the net. but when its busy, we are very busy indeed. with event's enquires and such....

Recently Kelvin and I are not on very good terms, don't know why but communication wise its just not working out. All the little issues are unresolved and sometimes i wondered if is it that he pampered me too much already. Do i rely him too much?

Is there something such as relying on your spouse too much??

He works super long hours and i nmentioned he does not have time for me anymore. i mean, we do not go out for dinners anymore or go for a walk, and when i mentioned about couples keeping the sparks alive in a r/ship, he told me that the baby is most important now...

this sorts of crushed me, but i cannot be jealous of my darling lincoln right??

sigh... all i can think of now is to focus on my job, and try to be more independant...

will try to go to the gym more often and also find more activities to kill time...
